Submersion Injuries

Submersion Injuries are the most common among pediatric males ages 1 - 5 in the summer months, and in the southern states. As it is now beginning to warm up, with people getting outside to enjoy the warmer months, Don, Ben, Dr. Chris, and Will discuss submersion injuries and their management. In this disease process, early management can make a big difference in a patient's ability to walk out of the hospital.
